This project is a 112,000 S.F. warehouse addition to accommodate the tenants rapidly growing rack storage requirement. Prior to commencing construction of the 24’ high tilt wall assembly; the site had to be prepared by modifying the existing storm sewer system, expanding the parking and heavy up of paving sections to handle the anticipated additional truck traffic. The tenant’s military contract drove the schedule and resulted in a liquidated damages clause in the contract. To insure that deadlines were met, the project management team established a relationship with the Prince William County building and development staff that enabled smooth sailing through what can often be a difficult regulatory process, resulting in an on time delivery.
