Hubert Construction has implemented a Water Intrusion and Mold Management Program (WIMMP) to protect against water damage during construction and expects and requires their Subcontractor’s and Suppliers’ work and products to be free of material defects upon completion of construction. Water damage to building materials is one defect that is of particular concern. Water damage, either from direct or indirect contact with construction-related water sources, may adversely impact a material’s structure, performance or finish. Water damage to a material’s finish includes fungal and bacterial defacement. The presence of microbiologicals on materials, particularly molds, may also present other adverse conditions and require special procedures for repair. Subcontractors and Suppliers agree to familiarize itself and comply with the written Water Intrusion and Mold Management Program (WIMMP).
