The home for Westat’s wellness program—“The Right Track”—is this new three-story, 16,000 S.F. building that houses fitness and dining facilities. Employees are encouraged to make use of the facilities at this building centrally located on its campus, as it is the corporate philosophy that the wellness program promotes good health that will keep them on the job and performing at the highest level. The building entry has a two-story atrium with clear curtain walls and a monumental stair. The top floor of the new building houses a café, equipped with a full kitchen and servery that provides healthy meal choices, along with seating areas to enjoy meals away from work with plenty of natural light. The first-floor fitness center has state-of-the-art exercise equipment, men’s and women’s locker rooms, and an aerobics room where group classes are held and is managed by Corporate Fitness Works, Inc. The lower level has future office space and a storage area.
