The scope of this design/build project called for the complete replacement of the HVAC systems, while the buildings where fully occupied and remained in operation. Working through the existing ceiling system, existing ductwork was removed and replaced with new larger duct and air distribution devices. In anticipation for the placement of new larger packaged HVAC units, the roofs structural system was upgraded to handle the additional load. Prior to installation of the new equipment the existing roof membrane was replaced. All work on this project was performed during nights and weekends to minimize interruption to the tenants.
