Pan Am Flight Simulator Building

Completion of the 56,767 square foot flight simulator training facility for Pan Am International Flight Academy located in Dulles, Virginia included classrooms, briefing rooms, computer rooms, and simulator maintenance rooms. The four computer rooms on the second floor serviced the eight simulators.

• Composite structural steel with concrete fill on metal deck
• Brick veneer on steel stud back-up
• Four roof top units with centralized air distribution system and DDC controls
• Electric room with (2) 3000 AMP switchboards, two hydraulic pump rooms, eighteen under-slab trenches to carry hydraulic and electrical lines to the simulator
