Hubert has completed multi-phase renovation, relocation and expansion of the fitness facilities at the Vienna ,Virginia headquarters for the world’s largest credit union. Phasing was employed to keep the facility operational during the construction process. The expanded facility is 12,000 S.F. and includes new larger capacity locker rooms, and an expanded cardio and weight room, with new equipment and accessories. Additional new spaces are provided for a yoga/pilates room, a spin room and an aerobics room, each room has ceiling high hollow metal and glass walls, along a corridor to entice employees to join in organized classes. Located below grade, the fitness center’s walls are multi-colored , with bright accents and mirrors, the ceilings are a combination of open and acoustical systems with bulkheads for definition spaces.
