Hubert Is Awarded Four Interior Construction Contracts in DC Metro Area
Contracts Total $1.9 Million

Hubert Takes Two N. VA NAIOP Awards

 

Gaithersburg, Maryland, December 9, 2008…Hubert Construction of Gaithersburg, MD has been awarded four interior construction contracts in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The four contracts, with a total value of approximately $1.9 million, are:

  • Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Building T2, Washington, D.C. – Working with prime contractor Akima Construction and the Army Corps of Engineers, Hubert Construction is demolishing and retrofitting a three-story building within the Walter Reed campus.
  • FASEB Building, Bethesda, MD – conversion of office space to a 3,014 square foot fitness facility.
  • Merit Building, Gaithersburg, MD – 7,216 SF tenant office renovation for Empire Petroleum Oil.
  • Gateway Business Center, Gainesville, VA – 29,904 SF interior build-out for Goodman Manufacturing.

Hubert Construction was part of two development teams that won awards from Northern Virginia NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties): Sterling Park Business Center II in Loudoun County, Virginia, which took an Award of Excellence, and Heritage Hunt Corporate Park Building A in Gainesville, Virginia, which won an Award of Merit.
