Hubert Wins ABC Award for Brambleton Visitors Center

Gaithersburg, Maryland, September 25, 2008…Hubert Construction of Gaithersburg, MD won the Associated Builders and Contractors Award of Excellence for the Brambleton Visitor’s Center and Builder’s Showcase in Brambleton, VA.
The award, jointly presented by ABC’s Metro DC and Virginia chapters, was for interior construction in the $100 per square foot and over category.
The interior of this 8,000 square foot building was designed to display the high-end finishes and options available to potential home buyers at Brambleton, while also showcasing the features and amenities of the surrounding community. It is strategically located in the center of Brambletown Town Center, functioning as a pedestrian pass-through between the movie theater and adjacent restaurants.
The finished interior includes interactive kiosks, multiple video presentation monitors, and a coffee bar and work area for home buyers. Finishes include high-end wood cabinetry, granite, slate, stone, and floating ceilings. Over 300 lights were installed to accent the displays and create a unique atmosphere.
