Hubert Having Steady Success with Flex/Office Spaces, Contracts Value Over $26 Million

Gaithersburg, Maryland, July 18, 2006…Hubert Construction of Gaithersburg, MD has completed two projects including three single-story flex/office buildings in Manassas, Virginia and two flex/office buildings in Dulles, Virginia while breaking ground on the two buildings, and subsequently the last phase of Dulles Trade Center Complex.

Innovation Business Center is compromised of three buildings, totaling 125,000 square feet in Prince William County. Two buildings have 46,300 square feet, while the third has 32,900 square feet. This project is the first fully speculative flex/office space within the 1,600-acre technology oriented business park. The three new structures will incorporate a number of environmentally friendly building features including skylights for natural daylighting, high R-value insulation, and the use of slag cement in base building construction.

The continued success of the Dulles Trade Center I Campus is marked by the completion of buildings H1/H2 and the start of construction for buildings D1/D2. Both are tilt-up projects, mirroring the process used to erect all buildings in the Dulles Trade Center I complex.

Building H1 is two-story, with 83,000 square feet of flex/warehouse space and building H2 is slightly smaller at 26,000 square feet. Both buildings have mezzanine space and are unique due to their drive in bays, offering 100% dock loading.

Buildings D1 and D2 total 155,000 square feet and are both two-story flex/warehouse buildings. D1/D2 is unique in that it will offer 37,000 square feet of finished office space suites for immediate delivery. Add to that an elevator for second floor access, and this, our next and final phase is a stand-out indeed!
