Hubert Completes 3 Office Condo Projects in N VA Totaling 237,000 SF
Gaithersburg, Maryland, May 25, 2005…Hubert Construction of Gaithersburg, MD has completed three commercial office condominium construction projects in Northern Virginia for Buchanan Partners, a leading commercial developer. The projects total 237,000 square feet and a contract value of $19 million.
- Heritage Hunt Office Condos Buildings 1 & 2, These two three-story commercial office condominium projects, part of the Heritage Hunt Commercial Center near Gainesville, VA, total 40,000 square feet and were designed by CMSS Architects. Hubert has completed base building construction and is building out 19 tenant interiors, including four dental offices and one physical therapy suite. The buildings’ façades feature brick and EIFS on panelized wood stud framing with masonry elements. The roof combines architectural shingles with fully adhered EPDM.
- Ridgeview Office Condominium , This two-story 53,000 square foot Class A office condominium project is located in eastern Loudoun County, Virginia. The building features a two-story atrium that admits natural daylight, elevator service, and an ornamental staircase framing a planter with a ten-foot ficus tree. There are 27 separate office condo units ranging from 1,500 to 2,800 square feet. Roof-mounted HVAC units provide tenants with individual temperature control. Designed by Barry Dunn & Associates, Ridgeview has a structural steel frame with concrete floor decks, and a brick exterior with three different color patterns. Lobby finishes include granite flooring, wood pilasters, and patterned brushed stainless steel accents.
- Dulles Trade Center I – Buildings E, F, and G, Hubert recently completed three one-story flex/industrial office condominium buildings totaling 144,000 square feet at Buchanan Partners’ Dulles Trade Center Project on Route 606 just west of Washington Dulles International Airport. Building G is the center’s first to offer four-foot loading dock bays. Together with Buildings A, B, and C, Hubert has constructed over 400,000 square feet of office/flex space at Dulles Trade Center. The project architect is Morgan Gick McBeath & Associates.
Founded in 1998, Hubert Construction, LLC offers a full range of construction services including commercial office buildings, tilt-up, retail, small commercial, recreation facilities, interiors, and site infrastructure. Hubert Construction had 2004 revenue of $45 million and is projecting revenue of $70 million for 2005.
