Hubert Construction, LLC is awarded Recreation/Fitness Facility Contracts
Gaithersburg, Maryland, April 22, 2010…Hubert Construction, LLC has been awarded contracts totaling $2.97 million dollars for construction or renovation of recreational and fitness facilities. Since 1999 Hubert has constructed $75.0 million in community centers, club/pool houses and fitness facilities. Building on that experience they have gained the trust of new and existing clients for their current construction needs.
While Hubert is completing the newest Sport & Health at the Brambleton Town Center, they have been awarded the Renovations at the Sport & Health – Regency facility located in McLean, Virginia. One of the older clubs in the chain, the renovation, designed by Vibe, involves a multi-phase conversion of the existing men’s locker room to serve as both a men’s and women’s locker room. The renovations are to include all new upscale locker rooms with porcelain and glass tiles, solid surface tops and all new lockers and toilet partitions.
Hubert Construction, LLC has also been awarded the fitness facility renovation and expansion at the Navy Federal Credit Union headquarters in Vienna, Virginia. This is a multi-phase renovation and expansion of their existing fitness facility. The completed facility will have new larger locker rooms, a spin room, a yoga/pilates room and aerobic studio along with an enlarged weight/cardio room.
As a sign that the residential real estate market continues to improve, Pulte Homes has awarded Hubert Construction, LLC the construction contract to build the community center at their Lakeview at Brandywine development. The 5,600 S.F. building, designed by Grimm and Parker to be the social center of the community will include an exercise room, HOA offices, locker rooms, a library/business and a multi-purpose room. The exterior will be a traditional façade with a stone and wood siding veneer, trellises and will include a 3,000 S.F. pool. In addition, to this community amenity Hubert is currently constructing the community center and pool house at Fairfield, in Germantown, Maryland, for Pulte and the community center at Tanyard Springs, in Anne Arundel County for Lennar.
