Hubert Completes 38,000 SF of Interior Construction Jobs
Contracts Total $1.6 Million

 

Gaithersburg, Maryland, March 29, 2005 …Hubert Construction's Interiors Division recently completed four office interior construction jobs in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The jobs comprise nearly 38,000 SF of space with contracts totaling over $1.6 million.

  • Hubert completed interior build-out of Govolution's 14,000 SF office space at 2000 N. 14th Street in Arlington, VA. The build-out included an extensive millwork package, aluminum and glass glazing systems for executive offices and conference rooms, electronic shades, fabric-wrapped wall panels, a custom lighting package, carpet tiles and cork flooring, and sprayed-on acoustical treatments.
  • The law firm of Matson/Freyvogel contracted with Hubert for interior construction of its new 2,800 SF space at 8200 Greensboro Drive in McLean, Virginia. Interior alterations and an attractive millwork package included custom casework, new stain grade doors with custom grills, stain grade trim, chair rails, and crown molding.
  • Hubert built out Bright Start Learning Center, a 5,348 SF child care facility located at 4920 Brenman Park Drive in Alexandria, Virginia, from shell condition. As part of the buildout, Hubert installed two new storefront windows and doors in the vestibule area to create an attractive entry. Large open play areas with bright multi-colored carpet tiles transition into peaceful softly colored rooms for infant care and sleeping areas. Cheery tiled bathrooms are equipped with facilities to accommodate toilet training and handicapped access. The build-out also includes a full-service pantry and office space.
  • Karon Gymnastics is a 15,413 SF facility located at 8442 Euclid Avenue in Manassas, Virginia. Hubert's build-out included restroom facilities and a kitchen. Hubert also installed a new HVAC system with five roof-top units and energy recovery units.
