Hubert Builds Indoor/Outdoor Recreational Facilities For Bethesda Country Club, Brambleton
Contracts Total $4 Million
Gaithersburg, Maryland, March 3, 2008…Hubert Construction of Gaithersburg, MD is building a 4,000 square foot addition to Bethesda (Maryland) Country Club and a state-of-the-art swimming pool complex for the master-planned community of Brambleton in Loudoun County, Virginia. The contracts for both projects, scheduled to deliver this summer, total approximately $4 million.
The Bethesda Country Club at 7601 Bradley Boulevard will have a 4,000 SF addition to its existing building, with access to the existing pool deck. The addition will house an enlarged fitness center, indoor full-service spa, octagon-shaped teen recreation room, common area with fireplace, and an outdoor dining patio with two wood-burning fireplaces. The fitness area will include a machine room, aerobics room, and free weights room. Hubert’s $2.5 million contract calls for all outdoor work and pool deck access to be completed by Memorial Day.
In its fourth construction project for the Brambleton master-planned community, Hubert is building 3,000 SF free-form swimming pool, a 78 SF toddler pool with beach entry, and a 64 SF heated spa. The pool deck area will include a built-in barbeque, gas log fireplace, and stone walls. Hubert’s $1.5 million contract also includes construction of a 2,600 SF pool house constructed of stone, brick, and pre-engineered wood trusses. The building will house locker rooms, showers, a warming kitchen, restrooms, and an indoor heated spa. Interior finishes will include cedar ceilings, granite counters, and ceramic tile flooring.
