Scott Hallam is New EVP of Hubert Construction

Gaithersburg, Maryland, January 22, 2009…Hubert Construction of Gaithersburg, MD has named Scott Hallam Executive Vice President and Partner. He previously served as Vice President of Construction. His new responsibilities include overseeing the firm’s construction business.
Pete Sutcliffe, LEED AP, has joined Hubert Construction as Senior Project Manager in the company’s Commercial Interiors Group. Formerly with Balfour Beatty Construction, Pete has 22 years of construction experience including 15 in the commercial interiors sector, and is a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
Matt Shea, who was named President in 2007, is shifting his focus to concentrate on business development and pre-construction services. “We are entering 2009 in a strong position to grow and expand our market share of tenant interiors that will complement our base building division,” he said.
Founded in 1998, Hubert Construction, LLC offers a wide range of services including general contracting, design/build, construction management, pre-construction and green building analysis throughout the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. Area. Typical project types include commercial office buildings, tilt-up, flex/warehouse, retail, country clubs and recreational and pool complexes. Hubert also has a tenant interiors and service department.
